2011 a Big Year in NM for ALJs and Hearing Examiners

2011 is shaping up to be quite a year in New Mexico for Administrative Law Judges and Hearing Officials.  The National Association of Administrative Law Judiciary (NAALJ) is having their Annual Conference in Santa Fe from September 18-21, 2011, at the beautiful La Fonda Hotel.  See http://www.naalj.org/conferences. Then, the National Association of Hearing Officials (NAHO) is holding its annual Professional Development Conference in Santa Fe from November 13-16, 2011, also at the La Fonda Hotel.  See http://www.naho.org/.

Wow, double the blessings and twice the opportunities for New Mexico ALJs and Hearing Officials such as myself, to engage in local, relevant professional development; make important contacts with fellow ALJs/Hearing Officials; and even get actively involved in helping to put on a professional conference that meets your professional needs!...

As  member of both organizations, I have been asked by the curriculum committee for each to assist in identifying speakers and topics.  Please contact me if you have any good ideas for breakout sessions, and/or if you want to participate as a presenter or in any other role.  I have already listed many of you on the "to contact" list, so I'll be talking to you soon!
